My Ministry

Rift Valley Academy

I live in Kijabe, Kenya where I serve as a missionary and educator at Rift Valley Academy.

“We educate and disciple students toward their potential in Christ, thus enabling families to serve across the African continent.”

Our mission is simple:

-Quality Education: At RVA, I’ve taught Chemistry, AP Chemistry, two levels of AP Calculus, and a one-off elective called “Comparative Religions: Islam and the Christian Response” to students hungry to learn!

-Disciple: As a boarding school, I have the unique opportunity to walk alongside my students and point them towards Christ in every aspect of life, not just the classroom! This often means having students over for dinner, sharing a cup of tea or lunch on the front porch with a mentee, or just listening when students wander into my classroom at 8:30pm when I’m prepping for the next day’s lesson.

-Enable: My students’ parents work in nations across the African Continent. Many of them work amongst unreached people groups; communities where less than 2% of the population are Christians. They are church planters, doctors, teachers, administrators, business people and more! All for the glory of God- to make his name known and to bring people to Christ. From African Spiritism to Islam, many of the communities are full of darkness. By providing a quality education to these missionaries children, we help create opportunity for the gospel to go to places it has never been before.

Africa Inland Mission

“Create Christ centered churches among all African People”

Rift Valley Academy is one branch of ministry of Africa Inland Mission. Africa Inland Mission is an evangelical Christian mission agency serving in over 20 African nations. Founded in 1895, AIM has a passion to see Christ-centered churches established and thriving among all of Africa’s peoples, both in Africa and among African diaspora around the globe. We at RVA exist for one purpose only: to support the spread of the gospel.
